Life without love is empty. Whether we admit it or not, all people share a deep-seated desire to be wanted...to be held..to be loved. True happiness does not come from the material things we own or our status in the world...it comes from being at peace with ourselves and knowing that we have someone at our side who truly cares about us and will be there through the good and the bad that life has to offer. Cherish those who love you for there is no greater gift. That being said, love is also work...its a give and take on both sides. Perfection does not exist and expecting it only leads to disappointment. Complacancy enters into all relationships after awhile making them seem to lose their luster. Its our challenge to keep things excitng and new. Give love a chance..it can overcome so many trials and tribulations. The person wanting to be at your side is there for a reason...they truely love and care about you. So I say don't settle for an ordinary love...work to make it great. The grass isnt always greener on the other side of the fence, so evaluate your own field closely before leaving its borders.
