The chemistry of mind is different from the chemistry of love. The mind is careful, suspicious, he advances little by little. He advices “Be careful, protect yourself” Whereas love says “Let yourself, go!” The mind is strong, never fells down, while love hurts itself, fells into ruins. But isn’t it in ruins that we mostly find the treasures? A broken heart hides so many treasures.

who i am... by terri
i am...
i am confused about everything 99.9 % of the time
i am hard-headed and will argue a point even if i don't understand it
i am strong-willed to the core
i am demanding and possessive and more than just a little obsessive
i am not just a handful, i am actually more like two
i am hard to understand and even harder to handle
i am open minded yet sure of what i believe
i am a dreamer and therefore dream to the point that my worlds skew around the edges
i am the worst speller in the entire world
i am the most inpatient person you will ever meet
i am a survivor and fighter
i am someone who has not only learned from her mistakes but has learned to love them with no regrets
i am alive and choose to suck every bit of life i can get out of what time i have here
i am adventurer yet i am afraid of everything and have to push myself to edge constantly
i am honest and loyal, i am truth...
i am no longer someone willing to settle for anything less magical
i am hope and willing to wait forever for what is real
i am someone who believes in fate
i am complete within myself.
i am...a girl who knows who she is...finally.
i am just me...

oh, BLARNEY ;)
via the offical Blarney website:
Blarney Castle was built nearly six hundred years ago by one of Ireland's greatest chieftains, Cormac MacCarthy, and has been attracting attention beyond Munster ever since. Over the last few hundred years, millions have flocked to Blarney, making it a world landmark and one of Ireland's greatest treasures.
Now that might have something to do with the Blarney Stone, the legendary Stone of Eloquence, found at the top of our Tower. Kiss it and you'll never again be lost for words.

...Guess that means i'll never be at a loss for words! lol

here i am. in what most people would consider paradise. and i catch myself. being happy, smiling and laughing...and then I'm hit... not only are you not here.... i don't know where you are, or if you'll ever be here. all i know is that i feel you out there... somewhere... and i cry for you. i heard once that saltwater was the cure for everything (*either tears or ocean*) today i give you both... and i #will# with all my heart, just as ever wish and ever hope I've ever made...***that you come to me***. find me. share this happiness with me....because truly, without you... it means nothing.
---> all this... i say, and send off into the world... to a feeling i have... deep inside of me... oF a man...that i'm not even sure exsists... but i FEEL.

Myths.
Folklore. Legends. Fairytales… Religions.
If
you read enough of them, you begin to be able to draw out certain things that
are always there, always the same.
The
beginning. The conflict. The end… the happily ever after.
The
king (the father, the creator, the ruler). The Knight (the prince, the
Son, the hero). The evil (the villain, the dragon, the devil).
…and
the princess (the rescued, the weak, the people).
Do
you know what always scared me the most? Not the battle, not the end, not
even the dragon. My biggest fear, is that none of it is real. That
we are just what we are, we live and we die. That there is nothing great,
nothing bigger than us. That at the end, we are simply put in the ground
and turn to dirt. We disappear.
How
incredibly depressing.
So
I choose to believe. And when you take that big great leap of faith, how
can you discriminate?
So
I think back and I dwell on those seconds in my past, not that I’ve felt
it. Not seen or heard something, nothing physical and that can be proven
without doubt. But where for only a single moment it’s as if I time slows
down and freezes; there’s goose flesh, a chill, and a warning of tears.
And for literally no more than a second, a single thought; “there’s more”…”I
feel it.”
This
world…life…possibilities, there’s so many ways to see it, to interpret; so many
different beliefs stretched across time and space, from place to place and
people to people. Religions. Legends. Myths….fairytales. And though
they all vary drastically, at the heart of they all bare a small speck of
truth. Every great legend begins with some truth.
The
problem with any strange tale is that it is hard to know where truth ends and
legend begins. None-the-less, a good tale has few boundaries, and even the most
speculative twists and turns of a well told story have great merit when it
comes to uncovering lost possibilities ...
The lyrics came to Robert Plant in a flash of inspiration
when he and Jimmy Page were sitting by the fireplace at Headley Grange with
Page strumming the intro chords. Said Plant: "I was holding a pencil and
paper, and for some reason I was in a very bad mood. Then all of a sudden my
hand was writing out the words, 'There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is
gold/And she's buying a stairway to heaven.' I just sat there and looked at the
words and then I almost leapt out of my seat."
Plant said in many interviews that he didn't seem to be writing, that something else was moving his pencil for him...
Plant said in many interviews that he didn't seem to be writing, that something else was moving his pencil for him...
Stairway To Heaven
There's
a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying the stairway to heaven.
When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for.
Ooh, ooh, and she's buying the stairway to heaven.
There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings.
In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings,
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven.
Ooh, it makes me wonder,
Ooh, it makes me wonder.
There's a feeling I get when I look to the west,
And my spirit is crying for leaving.
In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees,
And the voices of those who stand looking.
Ooh, it makes me wonder,
Ooh, it really makes me wonder.
And it's whispered that soon if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason.
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forests will echo with laughter.
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now,
It's just a spring clean for the May queen.
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on.
And it makes me wonder.
Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don't know,
The piper's calling you to join him,
Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know
Your stairway lies on the whispering wind.
And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our soul.
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold.
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last.
When all are one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll.
And she's buying the stairway to heaven.
And she's buying the stairway to heaven.
When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for.

"There's a difference between who we love, who we settle for, and who we're meant for."
“Listen. I have discovered a path out of this
world and into another. It’s here, in this story. It’s in every story... But
it’s hidden inside the pages, between the lines. There is another journey here
with another map, and another adventure. This one is for you, for each of us.
We need only to have the eyes to see.
But be warned: This journey is full of real
danger. It’s the greatest secret of all time, and powerful forces wish to keep
it so. You will risk everything: your family, your friends, and most of all
your life as you’ve come to know it. But in return you stand to gain something
so precious that when you finally glimpse it, you will be forever transmuted to
gold.
It is your true destiny. It is who you were born
to be.”
— Anonymous quote scrawled on the library walls
of the Murdock Asylum for the Exegetically Insane
The time will come when, with elation, you will greet yourself arriving at your own door, in your own mirror, and each will smile at the other’ s welcome and say, sit here. Eat. You will love again the stranger who was your self. Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart To itself, to the stranger who has loved you all your life, whom you ignored for another, who knows you by heart. Take down the love letters from the bookshelf, the photographs, the desperate notes. Peel your image from the mirror. Sit. Feast on your life.
Derek Walcott, “ Love after love”
SKY ABOVE ME
EARTH BELOW ME
FIRE WITHIN ME
EARTH BELOW ME
FIRE WITHIN ME
Its starting again. That itchy irritable feeling that has me suffocating inside this life..
no more will i bask in the luxury of distractions, no more paths but the one i know is mine.
i fantasize about getting in the car and just driving, to nowhere in particular... just away. but its pointless, the entire world feels as small as these walls around me anymore.
you see... I belong somewhere, somewhere that's not here. I belong somewhere that's not a 'where' at all really.
Its something that i can go looking for, its something i have to chance upon.
its truth ...
its hope and the wait ...
its him.
we share a soul, therefore i feel him inside of me. I no longer doubt his existence, i only doubt our fate.
